Let’s freeze this time and record the happy, worry free days. We’ll do a series of portraits, yet most of our time together I’ll be taking photos and short films without you even noticing me around. Real, uncut, unobtrusive. My name is Sammy, and I’m a natural light family & portrait photographer from Nashville, Tennessee.
Having discovered motherhood 4 years ago, I’ve been in a constant race with time ever since, trying to save all the fun days, all the precious memories, the laughs, the first teeth, the peculiar games and the overwhelming joy that my 2 kids have spoiled me with, ever since they came into my life. So trust me, I know how much you want to hold on to every second and every detail.

I was determined to reach the white sphinx early the next morning
And here the dusk I purposed pushing through the woods that had stopped me on the previous journey. My plan was to go as far as possible that night, and then, building a fire, to sleep in the protection of its glare. Accordingly, as we went along I gathered any sticks or dried grass I saw.
